The pie
chart shows the result of a survey in which 485 students in our school were
asked about their favorite subject. Participants mentioned nine main subjects
in their answers: Math, Chinese, Spanish, English, IT, Science, PE, Music, and
Art.
From the
pie chart, it is clear that the greater number of participants said they love
IT the most. Eighteen percent like to learn English. While Spanish and Chinese
are being liked by more than a seventh of students. However, it turned out that
the few of students said their favorite subject was Math and Science. The ninth
main subject that shows the lowest percentage is PE, which is only 5%.
Meanwhile, 5 students prefer to choose Music and Art as their favorite subject.
Only a small minority has a favorite subject other than these nine main
subjects that mentioned before. And it can be seen that there were only a few
students answered that they didn’t know what their favorite subject was.
In
summary, since IT is the most popular subject, it is clear that many
participants love to learn IT. Whereas, out of the nine main subjects PE
becomes the least preferred subject. This is not surprising for only students
who face difficulty in doing sports exercises. The popularity of subjects depends
on the importance and level of difficulty of the subject.
