The
bar chart shows the result of a survey which conducted to know the symptoms of
stress that teenagers and adults have suffered in the one-month period before
the survey was conducted. It is measured in percentages. From the bar chart,
there are five indicators: feeling angry, feeling nervous, feeling tired,
wanting to cry, and the last one is reporting increasing stress level.
Overall,
it can be seen that the percentages of four from five symptoms of stress that
are suffered by adults and teenagers are more or less the same. The number of
teenagers who reported feeling angry as a result of stress was 40% and adults’
were a little higher: 41%. While, it shows that teenagers had 1% lower from
adults: 37%, not only in the case of feeling nervous but also the case of
feeling tired. Besides, 32% of teenagers reported wanting to cry and it had 6%
higher percentage in comparison with adults.
Another
indicator was changing stress levels. It was the only indicator that had a
meaningful dissimilarity between teenagers and adults. It was revealed that
only 31% of teenagers have a growth of stress levels, meanwhile 42% of adults
said that their stress levels were raising.
In
conclusion, there were more than 33% of adults and teenagers who involved the
survey suffered symptoms of stress in a month before it was conducted.
Considering the result of the survey, it is recommended that teenagers and
adults should pay a special attention to their symptoms of stress to avoid
further problems related to the issue.
